Savour the Tweed/Tweed Shire Council – gourmet hamper Instagram prize giveaway
Terms and conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Tweed Shire Council trading as The Tweed Tourism Company and Savour The Tweed ABN 90 178 732 496 (Council).

3. Promotion period
The competition opens at 6 pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm on Monday 5 October 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4. Who can enter
Entry is open to Australian residents. There is no minimum age requirement. Employees of Council and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
(No alcoholic beverages included in the hamper).
5. How to enter
On the Savour The Tweed Instagram account only, to enter, participants must:
like the prize hamper Instagram post
tag a friend (another Instagram handle) in the comments section under the post
each new tag in a separate comment counts as another entry
entrants must not tag themselves or create multiple Instagram accounts for the purpose of entering the competition.
6. Prizes
There is one prize hamper to be won, which includes:
a $700 cast iron Staub cocotte cookware provided by DKSH Australia Pty Ltd
various gourmet edible treats and skin care products.
Total prize value is approximately $1,000 (inclusive of GST).
The hamper is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The promotor accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize.
If any element of the prize becomes unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that element with an item of equal or greater value.
7. Winner selection and notification
The winner will be randomly drawn on Wednesday 7 October 2026 from all eligible entries.
The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message.
The draw will take place at Council offices.
The winner must comply with Instagrams’ terms of use and maintain an active account capable of receiving direct messages.
8. Prize claim
Council will notify the winner when and where the hamper can be collected. It must be collected; no courier or postage option is available.
The winner has until 5 pm Monday 26 October 2026 to respond and claim their prize.
If the winner does not respond and claim the prize by this time, another winner will be selected.
The winner may be required to provide proof of identify before the prize is awarded.
9. Disputes
Any disputes about the prize giveaway will be handled by Council. The decision is final, subject to any applicable law.
10. Promotion of winner
Council may request to photograph the winner and announce the win via the Savour The Tweed social media pages, websites, newsletter and any other publication. Participation in promotional activity is optional; however, the winner’s name may be published for the purpose of announcing the result of the competition.
11. Privacy
By entering this competition, participants agree that their contact details may be used by Council for the purposes of contacting the winner. Personal information, as defined under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998, may be requested by the promoter from competition winners for the purpose of providing prizes. The provision of any personal information is voluntary and is to be provided to the promoter and potentially the business providing the cookware only. Personal information will be handled in accordance with Council’s Privacy Management Plan and applicable privacy legislation. Any personal information stored by the promoter can be accessed by contacting Council on 02 6670 2400 or email at tsc@tweed.nsw.gov.au.
12. Additional terms and conditions
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, participants release Instagram from any responsibility or liability in connection with the promotion.
Council reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize where reasonably necessary for any reason.
Council is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this prize.
Council accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered, accessed or entered for any technical or other reason.
Council reserves the right, at all times, to substitute any prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available for any reason.
Council’s decision, in respect of all matters to do with this competition, will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Council shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions provided any changes are published on the relevant competition post or Council website.
By entering the competition, participants warrant that their entry complies with Instagram’s terms of use and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Council accepts no responsibility or liability and shall not be responsible or liable for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering an expression of interest, accepting or using the cookware or any products in the prize hamper.
Council is not liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where such failure is caused by something outside of the promoter’s reasonable control.
