Speak Easy: Secret Supper Club

  • Tweed Regional Museum 2 Queensland Road Murwillumbah, NSW, 2484 Australia (map)

ABOUT

Step into the enchanting world of ‘Speak Easy’ at the Tweed Regional Museum where history & innovation blend seamlessly with culinary delights and exquisite gin cocktails. Nestled within the Speak Easy exhibition, the museum’s Speakeasy bar invites you to savour the flavours of the past while exploring the remarkable breakthroughs that shape our present.

As part of their training, Kingscliff Stage 3 TAFE students are collaborating with the innovative Museum team to produce a canapé menu that speaks to the mood of the current Speak Easy exhibition, highlighting the diverse agricultural bounty of the Tweed region and reflecting food stories throughout the lens of inclusion and community.

The space will be transformed, recreating a clandestine style speakeasy with a prohibition-era vibe. As a guest, you’ll have the opportunity to walk through the exhibition with the curator Kalindi Hopping, engage with each other, the interactive displays and hands-on code breaking experiences, making the most of this relaxed social environment.
