About
Step into the shared moment of pause with a curated morning tea experience inspired by Tweed Regional Museum’s current exhibition Ritual. Reflect on how everyday acts, like sharing a cup of tea or coffee, can become meaningful rituals that connect us to place, people and time. Spend a gentle Sunday morning exploring objects and stories of tradition, faith and community that are deeply connected to the Tweed, from cycles of light and darkness to themes of water, renewal, harvest and celebration.
As you explore the exhibition, pause at one of the tea and coffee stations, each celebrating local production, cultural exchange and connection to Country. Sample native herbal teas from Playing With Fire Native Foods, estate blend black tea from nearby Madura Estate and herbal teas from Fallen Leaf; sip locally roasted chai from Loki Chai, enjoy freshly brewed coffee grown, processed and roasted at Zeta’s Coffee plantation in Carool, and take in curator-led insights while savouring delicious treats from Murwillumbah’s Wollumbin Street Bakery and The Platform Café.
Book your place and enjoy a memorable Sunday morning of local flavours, stories and shared ritual!
