About

There are meaningful and enduring relationships being fostered at Raven Place Farm in Clothiers Creek, where community-focused regenerative farming and wildlife thrive together. Come for the house-made Japanese gyoza, exceptional local saison beer, and a behind-the-scenes farm experience unlike any other. Join Raven Place's Michelle Kuramochi for an afternoon celebrating the flavours, people and collaborations that make the Northern Rivers such a special place to live and farm.

Begin with a guided walk, meeting the people who help create a thriving living system where food production, wildlife and community work together.Along the way, hear from farmers Jamie and Bec Waldron of Limpinwood Layers, producers of pasture-raised eggs; and local owl whisperer David Brooks of Wild BnB, who cares for the resident owls and shares the important role wildlife plays within the farm ecosystem.

After the farm walk, settle in for a curated tasting of house-made Japanese gyoza paired with Saison beers from Caldera Brewing & Blending Co. South Murwillumbah brewer Nick Loeve is renowned for his small batch, barrel aged and mixed culture beers, crafted using locally sourced organic and regeneratively grown ingredients that reflect the character of our region.

More than a farm tour, this is a chance to experience how collaboration creates something greater than the sum of its parts - from the farmers growing food, to the wildlife that calls the farm home, to the local brewer transforming regional ingredients into exceptional beer.
