About
This morning, you’re invited to a Walk on Country around the picturesque Fingal Headland with Uncle Franc Krasna, respected elder and cultural educator of the Goodjinburra clan of Bundjalung Nation.
You gather at Miimi’s Café, next door to the Fingal Surf Club for a coffee and a protein ball snack, before heading off for a guided cultural bush walk as Uncle Franc shares traditional knowledge, history and what it means to be connected to Country through lived experience and knowledge passed down through the generations, to give a deeper understanding and sense of connection for everyone, a vital step towards meaningful reconciliation through cooperation, community understanding and healing. Think of it as an opportunity to join the conversation, to look, listen, learn and connect to the environment - the land, the water, the plants, the animals and each other. As Uncle Franc says, “It means all of us getting on better together.”
